Australia assures parents of Sri Lankan students in Australia

Australia today gave an assurance to parents of Sri Lankan students in Australia as the authorities make changes to temporary visa holder arrangements during the coronavirus crisis.

The High Commissioner of Australia to Sri Lanka, David Holly said that the Australian Government will be flexible in cases where the coronavirus has prevented international students from meeting their visa conditions.

Students who have been in Australia for more than 12 months who find themselves in financial hardship will be able to access their Australian superannuation. (Colombo Gazette)
