A group of 172 persons left for home from the Air Force quarantine centre in Iranamadu this morning.
Air Force Spokesman Group Captain Dushantha Wijesinghe told the Colombo Gazette that the group of Sri Lankans had arrived from India on 21 March.
The group consisting of 45 males and 127 females, were placed at the quarantine centre as part of measures to contain the spread of the coronavirus in Sri Lanka, he added.
Group Captain Dushantha Wijesinghe further said that the individuals were sent home after successfully completing their 14- day quarantine period. (Colombo Gazette)
