Rupee depreciates further against USD

The Sri Lanka Rupee further depreciated against the US Dollar today.

The Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL) said the selling rate of the US Dollar was at Rs. 193.75.

The Sri Lanka Rupee depreciated against the US Dollar yesterday as well, with the selling rate of the Dollar closing at Rs.192.80.

Earlier, it depreciated against the US Dollar on Monday (30) and Wednesday (01), with the selling rate of the US Dollar at Rs.192.65 and Rs.192.80 respectively. (Colombo Gazette)

  1. All currencies around the world would be deprecating, even the US dollar due to its been in the virus ring. Amidst all this, the supply chin is also disturbed and negatively affected, and will essential supplies last from the producing to the consuming countries. Nobody knows for exact where all this will finally end , only guesstimates. Will there be a free fall. Hope springs.
