China donates large stock of medical equipment to Sri Lanka

China today donated a large stock of medical equipment to Sri Lanka to help the country fight the coronavirus.

The medical equipment handed over by the Chinese Government included nebulizers, Fotitude Kit 2.0, a Pulse Oximeter, infrared thermometers, infusion pumps, syringe pumps, suction apparatus, ECG Machine, Xray Portable, defibrillator, autoclave table top, high flow oxygen therapy and ICU ventilators.

The equipment was handed over to the Health Ministry by the Chinese Embassy in Colombo.

Also handed over weer face masks donated by Asia’s richest man, Jack Ma.

The Jack Ma Foundation and Alibaba Foundation had earlier announced plans to donate much-needed medical supplies to 10 more countries in Asia, including Srfi Lanka, to help the global fight against COVID-19. (Colombo Gazette)
