Another batch leaves Diyatalawa facility

A group of 100 individuals who had been placed at quarantine centres due to the covid-19 outbreak in Sri Lanka left for home today.

Military Spokesman Brigadier Chandana Wickremesinghe said the individuals, who had arrived from overseas, had left for home from the Damminna and Diyatalawa quarantine centres this morning.

One foreign national was among the group that left today, he added.

Brigadier Wickrmesinghe added that the individuals were sent home after successfully completing their mandatory 14- day quarantine period. (Colombo Gazette)
