Transporting and unloading of fish permitted during curfew

The Government has decided to permit the transporting and unloading of fish during the curfew.

Minister Mahinda Amaraweera said that the fisheries sector will be allowed to transport fish to the fish market even when there is a curfew.

This will ensure fish is available in the market when the curfew is temporarily relaxed.

Meanwhile, the Manning Market in Colombo has launched a program to distribute vegetables to the public from 04:00 am to 2:00 pm daily, including during the curfew. (Colombo Gazette)
