The first batch of quarantined returnees were released from the quarantine facilities today.
The returnees were allowed to leave after they had completed the mandatory 14 days coronavirus quarantine process.
The Army said that a group of 311 returnees left the quarantine facilities today.
They had arrived from Italy, South Korea, and Iran.
The Army said that the of the 311 returnees released today, 203 were from the Punani quarantine facility while 108 were based at the Kandakadu quarantine facility.
