Grace period offered to pay electricity bills

The Ministry of Power and Energy has granted a grace period for the payment of electricity bills for the month of February.

Minister Mahinda Amaraweera said consumers will be allowed to settle their February bills by 31 March.

The electricity supply will not be disconnected during this period, he added.

The Minister urged all consumers to pay their outstanding bills within the announced grace period. (Colombo Gazette)

    All hail President Gota. If this man wasn’t at the helm, it would have been the greatest disaster to ever strike Sri Lanka. That’s not to say it won’t be a tragedy, but imagine if we had some of those clowns in parliament handling the situation. President Gota has proved to be a far greater leader than Donald Trump.
