Parliament committee recommends ban on Burqa

A Parliament committee has recommended a ban on the Burqa.

The Parliament Sectoral Oversight Committee on National Security had made the recommendation in a report submitted to Parliament.

The report was presented to Parliament by the Chairman of the Committee, MP Malith Jayatilake.

The committee has also recommended a ban on the registration of political parties based on ethnicity and religion. (Colombo Gazette)

  1. Why don’t you buy peeled banana from a fruit shop, everyone like unpeeled banana to buy. So mr please first study what is islam, before you comment.

    • I like peeled bananas, like open dressed womens, then only I select as per my need the correct one. Closed problem, men like me will lose interest on women, yak.

    more atrocities ? All covering should be banned. We do not live in a primitive society.
