Chinese coronavirus patient at IDH to be discharged

The Chinese coronavirus patient, who is currently placed in isolation at the National Institute of Infectious Diseases (IDH) in Angoda, has recovered and is to be discharged tomorrow (Wednesday).

The Chinese woman was to be discharged last week but the decision was later put on hold as a precautionary measure and keeping in mind some concerns among the general public.

Udayanga questioned on MiG deal

Sri Lanka’s former Ambassador to Russia Udayanga Weeratunga was questioned by the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) today on the MiG-17 fighter jet deal.
