Former Sports Minister Namal Rajapaksa says removing President Gotabaya Rajapaksa is not the solution to the crisis. Verbal clash in Parliament between ruling party and opposition

A verbal clash took place in Parliament today between ruling party and opposition members. The clash took place when Government MPs and the opposition debated the current crisis in Sri Lanka. Resignation of Deputy Speaker not accepted

President Gotabaya Rajapaksa has refused to accept the resignation of Parliament Deputy Speaker Ranjith Siyambalapitiya. The Deputy Speaker had informed President Gotabaya Rajapaksa about his resignation.
