Karuna Amman actively involved in Government work

Former LTTE Eastern Province leader and former Deputy Minister Vinayagamurthi Muralitharan alias Karuna Amman is now actively involved in Government work.

Amman visited a bus stand in Kalmunai last night (Friday) and inspected the conditions at the premises.

The former Minister arrived at the location with a security escort, mostly private security, and made inquiries over moves to repair the bus stand.

He spoke to officials as well as the public at the bus stand and assured that steps will be taken to fully restore the building.

Karuna Amman, who supported President Gotabaya Rajapaksa at the last election, said that steps will be taken to secure funds to rebuild the bus stand. (Colombo Gazette)
