UN Rapporteur urges Ranil not to sign detention order

A United Nations Special Rapporteur has urged President Ranil Wickremesinghe not to sign detention orders against Wasantha Mudalige and two others. Two people shot dead in Ambalangoda

Two people have been shot dead at a hotel in Ambalangoda, the Police said. The Police said that the shooting took place this evening at a hotel in Delduwa in Ambalangoda.
