Sri Lanka is to receive 500,000 AstraZeneca Covishield vaccines from India, the Cabinet was informed. India to increase cooperation with Sri Lanka in infrastructure projects

Colombo continues to be a hot-spot with 480 new infections

The Colombo District continues to be a coronavirus hot-spot with 480 new infections being reported. Officials said that 843 new infections were reported around the country, over the 24-hour period ending at 6am today.
