The Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) has removed former Western Province Chief Minister Isura Devapriya from the key posts he held in the party.
Devapriya has been removed from the post of Maharagama chief electoral organizer.
His post as SLFP Central Committee member has also been suspended.
The disciplinary action has been taken as Devapriya had attended a public meeting of Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) member Bandula Gunawardena before the SLFP decided to support the SLPP at the Presidential election.
