SriLankan flight to Narita delayed owing to typhoon

SriLankan Airlines said that Flight UL460 from Colombo (CMB) to Narita? (NRT), Japan on 12^th?October had been delayed until 0215 hours on 13^th?October (Sri Lanka?local time) due to Typhoon Hagibis.

The estimated time of arrival in Narita is 1435 hours?on 13^th?October (Japan local time).

SriLankan Airlines said that it was closely monitoring the situation and passengers have been advised to contact SriLankan Airlines 24 Hour Contact Center on +94117771979 or the travel agents for further information.

“We regret the inconvenience caused. The safety and comfort of our customers remain our first priority,” SriLankan Airlines said.

Narita Airport is considering rejecting all landings Saturday to prevent passengers from being stranded by the transport disruptions expected from Typhoon Hagibis.

All Nippon Airlines Co. and Japan Airlines said they have canceled all domestic flights and some international flights from Narita.
