Indian High Commission staff member tests positive for COVID-19

A staff member of the Indian High Commission in Colombo has tested positive for the coronavirus. The High Commission said that an auxiliary staff of the High Commission of India, Colombo tested positive for COVID-19 yesterday. Nearly 100 whales washed ashore in Panadura

By Vyshnavi Velraj Nearly 100 whales were washed ashore on the Panadura coast this evening. Marine Biologist Asha De Vos told Colombo Gazette that the whales are pilot whales, which travel in groups and are known to get stranded.
