Railway trade unions decide to strike again

Railway trade unions have decided to launch a strike from midnight tonight.

Trade unions said that postal trains will also not operate during the strike.

Railway trade unions had on Saturday called off trade union action staged a day earlier.

The trade unions said that they had called off the strike as talks had commenced with the authorities.

A tense situation arose at the Fort railway station on Friday evening as a result of the strike launched by railway trade unions.

Ticket counters were closed as a result of the strike resulting in passengers venting their anger towards the authorities.
