Government to continue with forced cremations

The Government is to continue with the cremation of the remains of coronavirus victims despite a group of experts backing both burial and cremation. Repatriation flights to be increased next week

Repatriation flights will be increased next week, the Government said today. Minister Namal Rajapaksa tweeted saying that Government quarantine centres will be provided for all those returning to Sri Lanka. He also said that paid quarantine will not be mandatory for the returnees.? Companies which failed to pay due levies to be exposed

Institutions which have failed to pay the due levies will be exposed in the media. The Committee on Public Accounts (COPA) has decided to submit a list of names of the companies to the media.
