Court orders to bury Kingsbury suicide bomber’s remains

The Colombo Fort Magistrate today ordered the remains of the Kingsbury hotel suicide bomber to be buried at the Borella cemetery.

The order was given after the relatives of the bomber refused to accept his remains.

The bomber carried out the attack at the Kingsbury hotel on Easter Sunday.

Fort Magistrate Ranga Dissanayake ordered the Colombo Judicial Medical Officer to handover the remains of the suicide bomber to the Thimbirigasyaya divisional secretary to be buried at the public cemetery in Borella.
