Sri Lankan Embassy in Kuwait closed after staff and migrant workers contract virus

The Sri Lankan Embassy in Kuwait has been closed after three staff and 44 migrant workers contracted the coronavirus. The 44 migrant workers had been housed at the Embassy safe house, the Sri Lankan Embassy in Kuwait said. The embassy said that it will remain closed until 11th October. Earlier, the Sri Lankan Embassy in Qatar had also closed this week for a period of two weeks. Legendary playback singer S.P. Balasubrahmanyam passed away at a private hospital in Chennai on Friday. He was 74.
