Final decision with PSC

The government says the final decision on any changes to be made to the 13th Amendment to the constitution will be in the hands of the Parliament Select Committee (PSC) despite some opposition to it. Foreigners injured in accident

At least 4 foreign nationals were injured following an accident in Minneriya this evening, the police media unit said. The police said that the vehicle they were travelling in crashed into a protective barrier on a bridge in Battuoya. Five Belgium nationals were travelling from Habarana to Minneriya when the accident took place.
