Multi-storey building destroyed in Wattala fire

A multi-storey building in Wattala was destroyed in a major fire this morning. The fire raged across the building before the fire brigade arrived. The Police said that the building housed a clothing store. Several fire trucks were deployed to extinguish the blaze.
