NTJ, JMI activists arrested in Ampara

Two activists of the National Thowheed Jama’ath (NTJ) and Jama’athe Milla’athe Ibrahim (JMI) have been arrested in Ampara, the Police said.

The Police said that the suspects were arrested based on information provided by the State Intelligence Service (SIS).

The two suspects had reportedly received training at camps operated in Nuwara Eliya and Hambantota by the mastermind of the Easter Sunday attacks, Zahran Hashim.
