Tensions in Pakistan forces SriLankan Airlines to suspend flights to Lahore

SriLankan Airlines on Thursday said its flights to Lahore had been temporarily suspended. However, the services to Karachi would be continued as scheduled, the airline said. Former State Minister Prasanna Ranaweera remanded

Former State Minister Prasanna Ranaweera was ordered to be remanded after he surrendered to court over a case related to fraud. The Mahara Magistrate?s Court ordered Ranaweera to be remanded until 19th May. The former MP was linked to a property fraud case involving former Minister Mervyn Silva. Mervyn Silva is already in remand over the case.
