A committee has been appointed by the National Election Commission to study political parties with racial or religious names. Second dose of Covid vaccine to be administered from April 19

The second dose of the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine will be administered from April 19, the Health Ministry said. Chief Epidemiologist Dr. Sudath Samaraweera said that the second dose of the AstraZeneca Covishield vaccine would be given to those who got the same vaccine as the first dose. Chinese Sinopharm vaccines arrive in Sri Lanka

Chinese Sinopharm coronavirus vaccines arrived in Sri Lanka today. The vaccines arrived in a special flight at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) in Katunayake.
