Three more members of the Jamathei Millathu Ibraheem (JMI) who had allegedly received training from the mastermind of the Easter Sunday attacks, Zahran Hashim, have been arrested.
The Police said the suspects were arrested in Ampara based on information received by the by the State Intelligence Service (SIS).
Earlier this month another three JMI members were arrested in Ampara.
The three suspects had received weapons training at training camps operated by Zahran Hashim in Nuwara Eliya and Hambantota.
The JMI was banned in Sri Lanka following the Easter Sunday attacks.
