More leading Buddhist monks have raised opposition to moves to draft a new Constitution. The Amarapura Maha Nikaya today said it opposes any attempts to draft a new Constitution. The Amarapura Maha Nikaya said that while amendments can be made to the existing Constitution, there is no need for a new Constitution.
