Perpetual Treasuries Limited (PTL) owner Arjun Aloysius and the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Kasun Palisena were today ordered to be further remanded until October 11th in the bond scam case. DIG Nalaka de Silva’s voice sample recorded for testing

A voice sample was recorded from the former Terrorism Investigations Department (TDI) head, DIG Nalaka de Silva by the Government Analyst?s Department today. The sample was taken on a court order to verify a telephone conversation he allegedly had with an activist recently. Court of Appeal extends stay order on case against Gota

The Court of Appeal today extended a stay order preventing the?Colombo Magistrate?s Court from hearing a case filed against former Defence Secretary Gotabhaya Rajapaksa and seven others. The case had been filed by the Bribery Commission in relation to?Avant Garde Maritime Services (Pvt) Ltd. The Court of Appeal extended the stay order on the case until December 5th.
