Schools to resume normal operations from Monday

Schools will resume normal operations from Monday, the Ministry of Education said today. The Ministry of Education has issued a circular instructing school authorities to allow students to attend classes from Monday (March 14) as usual. Nearly 100 Indian pilgrims attend Kachchateevu festival

Nearly 100 Indian pilgrims, comprising mainly fishermen and priests, took part in the annual festival at St. Anthony?s Shrine in Kachchateevu on Friday and yesterday (Saturday), the Indian High Commission in Sri Lanka said. CEB seeks increase in cost of electricity
