Probe underway over foreign drone found in Sri Lankan waters

An investigation is underway over the discovery of a foreign drone in Sri Lankan waters. The drone was discovered at sea in Trincomalee by fishermen and was brought ashore. The fishermen said that the drone was handed over to the Air Force. Sri Lanka Air Force (SLAF) Media Spokesman, Group Captain Eranda Geeganage said that the drone was a foreign drone usually used in training operations. It is believed that the drone may have drifted into Sri Lankan waters. (Colombo Gazette)
