Price of imported milk powder increased

The price of imported milk powder has been increased, the Consumer Affairs Authority (CAA) said today.

The CAA said that the price of imported milk powder has been increased with effect from midnight yesterday.

The price of a 1kg pack of imported milk powder has been increased by Rs. 15 and the price of a 400g packet has been increased by Rs. 5, the CAA said.

Term of bond commission extended till December 31

The term of the Presidential Commission investigating the treasury bond scam has been extended till December 31. A gazette notice extending the term from December 8 to December 31 has been issued by President Maithripala Sirisena.
