Gold biscuits smuggled from Sri Lanka seized in Tamil Nadu

Indian authorities have seized gold biscuits smuggled from Sri Lanka after detaining two people, The Hindu newspaper reported. Close on the heels of Q Branch police seizing 6.856 kg of gold biscuits smuggled from Sri Lanka, the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) seized 9.293 kg of gold biscuits, also smuggled from Sri Lanka, in Thondi in Tamil Nadu after detaining two persons. Gota files writ petition in court against moves to arrest him

Former Defence Secretary Gotabaya Rajapaksa today filed a?writ petition in the Court of Appeal against moves to arrest him.
