Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe says he will appear before the Parliament Select Committee (PSC) on the Easter Sunday attacks.
In a special statement today, the Prime Minister said that he has been asked to appear before the PSC.
“I will go before it and say what I know,” the Prime Minister said.
The Prime Minister asserted that the PSC is legal and has been accepted by court.
The Prime Minister also said that the No Confidence Motion brought against him and the cabinet was defeated by a majority vote in Parliament yesterday.
He said the Parliament had decided the allegations contained in the motion are baseless.
