Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) General Secretary Dayasiri Jayasekera told the Parliament Select Committee (PSC) on the Easter Sunday attacks today that he had no specific information to blame any country over the Easter Sunday attacks.
However, Jayasekera said that there was some suspicion and the concerns need to be investigated.
Jayasekera had told reporters earlier that there was some suspicion that a foreign country was involved in the attacks.
He said the suspicion arose after one of the bombers had not detonated a bomb taken to the Taj Samudra hotel on April 21.
PSC member M.A. Sumanthiran told the PSC sitting today that the public had got the impression that Jayasekera had some specific information to link a foreign country to the attacks.
Jayasekera however clarified that he had no such specific information but only a suspicion.
