UNP rejects allegations raised by MCC review committee Chairman

The United National Party (UNP) has refuted the allegations levelled against the former Yahapalana Government by Professor Lalithasiri Gunaruwan?s Committee reporting regarding the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) agreement. Day Care Centers to reopen from 6 July

The Ministry of Health has granted approval to reopen Day Care Centers from 06 July. Day Care Centers across the country were closed due to the Coronavirus pandemic and the implementation of the island-wide Police curfew in March. The Director- General of Health Services Dr. Anil Jasinghe said the Day Care Centers will be allowed to reopen under strict health guidelines issued by the Ministry of Health.
