No move to reconvene Parliament unilaterally

Former Speaker of Parliament Karu Jayasuriya has refuted rumours surrounding the reconvening of Parliament. Jayasuriya said via Twitter that rumours that he would reconvene the Parliament unilaterally are false. He further said while fighting COVID-19, Sri Lanka does not want another Constitutional crisis. Only two passengers permitted in three-wheelers

The Ministry of Health has issued more guidelines in view of the COVID-19 outbreak in Sri Lanka. Director of Health Services Dr. Anil Jasinghe said only two passengers will be allowed to travel in three-wheelers with immediate effect. He further said that all salons will be closed until further notice.
