Copper factory employee further remanded over Easter attacks

An employee of a copper factory in Wellampitiya, arrested over the Easter Sunday attacks, has been further remanded till July 8.

Karupayya Rajendran Abdulla was employed at the copper factory in Wellampitiya owned by the family of the suicide bomber who carried out the attack on the Shangri-La Hotel in Colombo.

Abdulla, the 10th suspect arrested from the Wellampitiya copper factory, was produced in court today when he was ordered to be further remanded.?(Colombo Gazette)
