President asserts new CB governor will be appointed “within hours”

Over 700 acres of land in the North handed over to owners

Sri Lankan security forces have released 700 more acres and the Kankesanthurai railway station in the Northern Province, The Hindu newspaper reported. Iran says no decision to lease aircrafts from Sri Lanka

Iran has not made any decision to lease aircrafts from Sri Lanka, Iran’s Deputy Minister of Roads and Urban Development Asghar Fakhrieh Kashan said. He was responding to reports that Iran was in talks with Sri Lanka?to renegotiate the orders for three A350-900 aircrafts ordered by the last Government.
