Petition filed by Gota against case rejected

A petition filed at the Appeal Court by former Defence Secretary Gotabaya Rajapaksa against a case filed on him at the Permanent High Court Trial-at-Bar, was rejected today.

The case at the Permanent High Court Trial-at-Bar was filed over the construction of the D.A. Rajapaksa memorial.

Rajapaksa was accused of misusing state funds to construct the D.A. Rajapaksa memorial.

The former Defence Secretary filed a petition against the case at the Appeal Court but the Appeal Court rejected the petition today. (Colombo Gazette)

  1. The current leaders know that if they lose the power they truth will be revealed about the Easter Sunday bombings. The foreign powers are behind the President and Prime Minister. Therefore, justice will not prevail only wishes of the foreign powers will prevail in Sri Lanka. Eventually, people have to protest to make the presidential election to happen in Sri Lanka.
