A couple have been found dead in Navinna, the Police media unit said today. The Police said that the husband and wife were found dead under mysterious circumstances at Devananda road in Navinna. The bodies were found from a business establishment in the area.

Three arrested with large amount of heroin and weapons

Three suspects have been arrested with a large stock of heroin in Horana, the Police said. The Bandaragama Police seized 192 kg of heroin as well as 10 pistols and 19 magazines. Three suspects were arrested. Further investigations are underway. (Colombo Gazette)
