Train runs over nine-foot crocodile in Kekirawa

A train ran over a?nine-foot crocodile in Kekirawa today resulting in the?crocodile suffering serious injuries. The Wildlife Department said that the?crocodile had been crossing the railway tracks when it was run-over by the train. Wildlife officials said that they are making a desperate attempt to save the life of the crocodile. (Colombo Gazette)

Skeletal remains thrown outside cemetery while expanding road

Skeletal remains were found thrown outside the Borella?cemetery?by workers involved in a road expansion project. The discovery was made by Deputy Foreign Minister Dr. Harsha de Silva who posted a video of the discovery on his Facebook.
