Minister Douglas Devananda?has threatened to take a group of 5000 fishermen to neighboring India to protest against Indian fishermen poaching in Sri Lankan waters, a statement said on Sunday. Dambulla mosque opens amidst tensions

A mosque in Dambulla which was sealed on Friday following protests by several Buddhist monks and several protestors, has been reopened following the intervention of some Muslim government Ministers. Gayoom holds talks with Mahinda

Former Maldivian President Maumoon Abdul Gayoom has had talks with President Mahinda Rajapaksa in Colombo.
