Man who attempted to steal coconuts shot dead

A man who attempted to steal coconuts from a coconut estate in Gampaha was shot dead by the security guard of the estate. The police said that the 46 year old man had attempted to steal the coconuts from the estate in Imbulgoda in Gampaha.

Ramith Rambukwella’s driving licence suspended

The driving licence of former Minister Keheliya Rambukwella’s son Ramith Rambukwella’s was suspended by the Traffic Court today. Rambukwella was arrested recently over an accident which took place at Independence Avenue in Colombo while he?was under the influence of alcohol.
