Access to several social media sites in Sri Lanka have been temporarily blocked again.
The Government Information Department said that Facebook, WhatsApp and Viber have been temporarily blocked.
The move comes after the Police imposed overnight curfew in Chilaw, Kuliyapitiya, Bingiriya and Dummalasuriya yesterday following violence targeting Muslims.
Sri Lankan authorities blocked social media after the Easter Sunday Attacks and lifted it a week later.
However the sites were blocked again temporarily after violence erupted in Negombo a few days later.
