Court bans protest by Mahason Balakaya in Digana

A court order has been issued against the Mahason Balakaya from staging a protest in Digana tomorrow.

The Kandy and Teldeniya Magistrates issued the order against the Mahason Balakaya.

The court order was handed over to the Mahason Balakaya leader Amith Weerasinghe.

Mahason Balakaya was preparing to stage a protest in Digana tomorrow against Muslim extremism.

Digana was the scene of violent clashes in March last year when Sinhalese mobs attacked Muslim owned property. (Colombo Gazette)

Passenger to sue PickMe after being threatened by driver

A passenger has decided to sue the PickMe ride-hailing service after being threatened by a driver in Colombo.
