ATG Group donates medical equipment to Negombo hospital

Sri Lanka?s leading high-tech glove manufacturer ATG Group of Companies recently made a donation of medical equipment to the Negombo District General Hospital to upgrade its emergency care facilities following the Easter terror attacks.

Among items donated were oxygen regulators, stretchers and trolleys, bed linen and dry rations to prepare food for resident patients. The items were received by Dr. N.K Wijeratne, Medical Officer ? Planning of Negombo District General Hospital.

During the handing over, Fazal Abdeen Managing Director of ATG Group of Companies extended his sincere condolences to families that lost their loved ones during the attack and pledged the Company?s fullest support to the Catholic community in Negombo in their recovery and rehabilitation efforts.

In 2017 The company fully renovated The Negombo General Hospital?s maternity wards, 10 and 12? at cost of Rs.13Mn.
