Alert issued expecting more attacks over the weekend

The American Embassy in Colombo has issued an alert saying Sri Lankan authorities have reported additional attacks may occur over the weekend.

“Sri Lankan authorities are reporting that additional attacks may occur targeting places of worship. Avoid these areas over the weekend, starting tomorrow, April 26th through Sunday, April 28th. Continue to remain vigilant and avoid large crowds,” the US Embassy tweeted.

The Embassy later said on its website that terrorist groups continue plotting possible attacks in Sri Lanka.

The Embassy warned that terrorists may attack with little or no warning, targeting tourist locations, transportation hubs, markets, shopping malls, government facilities, hotels, clubs, restaurants, places of worship, parks, major sporting and cultural events, educational institutions, airports, hospitals, and other public areas.

  1. Why can’t such global terrorist groups be demolished? Innocents worldwide are being gunned, bombed and assassinated mercilessly. Why can’t states worldwide join hands together so as to eradicate terrorism? Are there any barriers for them all? Dead ones have no business with the culprits. In which way the modern democracy proceeds? There must be a limit. More democracy more troubles. Anyway credit goes to armed forces of Sri Lanka for being selfless to fight against such a deadly group. Let us join hands to protect humanity.

  2. That is what you get when you let terrorist rerturn to Sri lanka without any problem. So my question is, who is guilty of the bombings that happened and maybe still will happpen?
