Singer Amal Perera has been released after being questioned by the Criminal Investigations Department (CID).
Perera and five others who were arrested in Dubai had been deported to Sri Lanka on Monday night.
They were detained by the CID when they arrived in Sri Lanka and taken in for questioning.
The Police said that Perera and two others have now been released.
Amal Perera was among several Sri Lankans arrested at a party hosted by notorious drug dealer Makandure Madush in Dubai in February.
Subsequently most of them were deported to Sri Lanka. (Colombo Gazette)
