Gota says Rajapaksa regime walked the talk

Former Defence Secretary Gotabaya Rajapaksa says the Rajapaksa regime did not stick to just words but put everything to action.

Speaking at the ‘Eliya’ rally held in Dehiwala today, the former Defence Secretary said that the former regime defeated terrorism and improved infrastructure in the country.

He also said that the wrong impression was given when Colombo city was being developed.

Rajapaksa said that some claimed that the Rajapaksa regime was going to move Tamils and Muslims out of Colombo.

However, he says new housing complexes were constructed for all the communities in Colombo, including Tamils and Muslims. (Colombo Gazette)
